About Rejuran Healer

Rejuran Healer is a skin booster that injects PN (polynucleotide) into the shallow layer of the skin. The treatment aims to support regeneration within the skin, and it may suit people bothered by rough skin texture, a feeling of reduced firmness or fine lines. After numbing cream is applied to the skin surface, small amounts are injected bit by bit across the treatment area with a fine needle. Miri Clinic's price list includes Rejuran Healer 1 cc, 2 cc and 3 cc and Rejeban Healer 1 cc and 2 cc.

The PN used in Rejuran Healer is known to be an ingredient made by purifying DNA fragments obtained from salmon, and Miri Clinic's price list shows Rejeban Healer alongside Rejuran Healer, also divided by cc. How many cc are used depends on whether it is the whole face or a small area such as around the eyes. Rejuran Healer is a product made by PharmaResearch, a Korean company.

After Rejuran Healer, small raised bumps often appear at the injection points and then subside, so if you have an important event, it is best to schedule the treatment with a few days to spare.

What does PN do in the skin?

PN is a substance obtained by purifying the components that make up DNA, and when injected into the skin it is known to support an environment in which damaged skin recovers. Rejuran Healer is not a treatment that adds volume to change the shape of the face; it is a treatment that may help care for the skin's foundation, such as texture and firmness.

Because the injected ingredient is absorbed by the body over time, the change is often felt little by little over several sessions rather than showing all at once. Skin thickness differs by area, so where and how much to inject is decided after examining your skin directly.

Which skin concerns is it considered for?

Rejuran Healer is generally considered when the skin looks thinner and dull, or when changes in the skin's foundation, such as fine lines, are a concern. It is not a treatment that directly lifts deep wrinkles or sagging, so if your concern is closer to that, the right approach is decided at your consultation.

Please let us know in advance if you have inflammation or a wound in the treatment area, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have had an allergy to an injected ingredient, or are taking blood-thinning medication. If you have recently had a procedure such as a laser or peel, please also tell us the date.

How does Rejuran Healer go on the day?

  • Skin check — we check your skin thickness and dryness, recent procedures and current medications, and decide the areas and amount to inject.
  • Cleansing and numbing — after removing your makeup, numbing cream is applied to the skin surface and you wait about 30 minutes.
  • Injection — PN is placed bit by bit into the shallow skin layer with a fine needle; the injection takes about 10–20 minutes.
  • Soothing and going home — we tidy the injection points, check your skin and you go home. The steps and times are a general guide and may vary from person to person.

How much pain and how many injection marks are there?

Even with numbing cream, you may feel a sting as the needle goes in, and how much you feel varies from person to person. If you are worried about stinging, please tell us before the treatment. Right after the treatment, small raised marks may be visible at each injection point.

Injection marks and swelling usually settle within 1–3 days, and you can usually wear makeup from the next day. How quickly they settle varies from person to person depending on skin thickness and constitution. It is best not to touch or rub the injection points and to keep them clean.

What reactions can occur after the procedure?

Injection marks, swelling and bruising are common and mostly settle within a few days. Rarely, a lump may be felt at an injection point or inflammation may occur. If redness and pain keep getting worse, or you notice warmth or pus, please contact the clinic right away. Please also have it checked at the clinic if a lump lasts a long time or seems to be getting bigger.

How many sessions, and how far apart?

PN skin boosters are commonly given over several sessions rather than once, generally about 3 sessions at intervals of about 2–4 weeks. The interval and number of sessions are decided at your consultation based on your skin condition and how your skin responds after each treatment.

Whether to continue care after that depends on your skin condition and living environment rather than a fixed period, so it is decided at a consultation after watching how things go following the last session.

How much does Rejuran Healer cost?

Rejuran Healer is ₩150,000 for 1 cc, ₩250,000 for 2 cc and ₩350,000 for 3 cc, and Rejeban Healer is ₩99,000 for 1 cc and ₩170,000 for 2 cc. Prices are plus 10% VAT on cosmetic procedures.

The price list shows both products together; please confirm the difference between them and which product and amount suit your skin at your consultation.

Your exact diagnosis and treatment plan are decided at your consultation.

FAQ

How many cc of Rejuran Healer will I have?

Miri Clinic's price list includes Rejuran Healer 1 cc, 2 cc and 3 cc. The size of the area to be injected and skin condition differ from person to person, so the amount that suits you is decided at your consultation.

Can I use skincare products right after the treatment?

Basic moisturizer is often used, but it is best to pause products that may irritate the skin, such as exfoliants and retinol, until the injection marks settle. Please follow the aftercare instructions for when to start using them again.

Can I have it on the same day as a laser treatment?

Some people have them together on the same day, but the order and interval depend on your skin condition and the type of procedure. If there is a procedure you would like to have together, please tell us in advance at your consultation.

What if my schedule is delayed during the 3 sessions?

The intervals we give are a general range, so if your schedule causes a delay, the timing of your next session is decided again at a consultation. If the gap looks likely to become long, please let us know in advance.
